King's crowns and crests were worn on the top of the Knight's helm in the 14th century for identification fighting at the tournaments. The wreath was to disguise the join between the helm and the Crest. The crowns used to take about two to three weeks to carve, mostly from wood. Material: Metal, artificial diamonds
