Although the cut is straight down to the waist, it flares at the bottom, in an A-Line fashion, to allow freedom of movement for horseback riding. The Peasant Dress Includes a girdle of the same fabric that is tightened with black cording to provide emphasis to the waist (no lace). Our sleeves have elastic that gives the impression of smocking.
