Push Dagger features stainless 3" center blade and two 4" side blades. Antique silver finish sculpted cast metal handle with black rubber inlay. The overall length of the Push dagger is 8 inches. The dagger comes complete with black finish wood display stand. Dagger is a short stabbing knife, supposedly the miniature of a sword. However, in the ancient and medieval times, the difference between a long dagger and a short sword was often obscure. From approximately 1300, the European dagger was consistently differentiated from the sword; in the 16th century a school of fencing developed in which a specially designed dagger with a large guard was held in the left hand and used for parrying. The convenient size of the dagger made it easy to carry around and draw, giving it advantages over a sword in many situations.
