The Early Norse and Celtic people of the middle ages created simple, fully functional swords beautifully adorned with designs from myths and legends. This beautiful sword has a traditional curled scroll design engraved into its pommel. This design dates to the "La Tene" era and has been taken from a design found on a ceremonial gilded iron helmet that resides in the Musee' des Antiquit'es Nationales Museum in France. Leather sheath included. Blade is 1-7/8" wide and 25-3/4" long. Overall length 32-3/4" "Solid Brass Hilt" sword boasts a hand cast hilt and a blade hand forged in hot coals, in much the same manner as the originals were made throughout history.
