When the Japanese government banned the wearing of swords in 1876, rebellious Samurai made many covert attempts to evade the law. One of the most ingenious was to disguise the sword as a walking staff. Thus, a Samurai discreetly continued to carry his weapon in full view of the authorities. In the spirit of those swords, this Ninja-bladed sword makes for an attractive cane with a deadly secret 29" of hand-forged, high carbon steel, properly heat treated with simulated hamon line.
