The Marvel Comics character is personified on the big screen in the half-human, half-vampire character, Blade, played by Wesley Snipes, who is the result of a vampire attack on his mother before he was born. Possessing all the strengths of vampires but none of their weaknesses, his world is filled with the vampires he hates, and his quest in life and purpose for living is to rid the world of them - wherever he can find them. With the New Line Cinema releases of Blade, Blade2, and Blade: Trinity (in theaters December 8, 2004), United Cutlery has released a series of Blade Collectibles: DayWalker Stakes (UC1431), the Sword of the DayWalker (UC1401), the DayWalker Scabbard (UC1403), and the Glaive (UC1402). Each sold separately. The Blade DayWalker Stakes are licensed reproductions of the props prominently featured in the Bladeª film.
