Leather Cavalier Hat

Leather Cavalier Hat is made of fine black leather; the hat has a stylish band with buckle along with the famous up-turned side brim. Simply add a colorful plume of your choice (not included) and you will be the talk of the kings' court. The Cavalier Hat is available in black only. M or L. Please specify right or left side raised brim.
The circumference of the inside of the hat for the Large size is approx. 24 1/2" and medium is approx 23".

The term cavalier originally meant a rider or cavalrymen (Chevalier in French). In the English Civil Wars, cavalier was the name adopted by Charles I's supporters. Their style of dress included long hair in ringlets and elaborate embroidered clothes.
