Pewter Holy Trinity Wall Cross
|
The Pewter Holy Trinity Wall Cross is a great piece to decorate your wall. The cross is constructed of pewter, with an overall length of 5 3/8 inches and a width of 3 3/4 inches. The Holy Trinity cross also features a star in the middle of the trinity symbol.
Holy Trinity is a union of Father, Son and Holy Spirit in one Godhead. There is only one God and he exists in three persons. Trinity literally means three-ness; "Tri" meaning three, and "Unity" meaning one, Tri +Unity = Trinity. The term doesn't appear in the Bible and it didn't exist until Tertullian (church leader and prolific author ca 155-230) made up the Latin term trinitas and also probably the "Three Persons, One Substance" from Latin. The doctrine of the Trinity is sometimes blamed for being a made-up doctrine. Some religious groupings that rely on the Bible as their sole source of authority reject the Trinity for there is no mention of it in the Bible.
