The Mini Excalibur Sword is a fine miniature of the larger Excalibur sword produced by Art Gladius. The blade, measuring 8 1/2 inches, is made of stainless steel and as in much detail as its larger counterpart. The Mini Excalibur Sword is the perfect piece to decorate your home or office. The overall length of the sword is 11 1/4 inches.
Excalibur is one of the two mythical swords of King Arthur. Excalibur means 'cut steel' and was first called Caliburn, a magical sword from Avalon. The sword that Arthur alone was able to draw from the stone, thus symbolizing his kingship, was not Excalibur. In fact, Arthur broke his first sword in his fight against King Pellinor. The true Excalibur sword was given to Arthur by the Lady of the Lake. On his death, it was returned to the Lady of the Lake by Sir Bedivere.
