Medieval Mounted Crusader
|
Medieval Mounted Crusader beautifully features Knight Templar mounted on a steed, wearing typical Crusader costume - white tunic with red cross and Knight Templar helmet. The Knight Templar is carrying a battle halberd.
Medieval Mounted Crusader is cast of polyresin and hand painted to a stunning detail to look like the original Knight Templar. The Medieval Mounted Crusader stands 9" tall.
The Knights Templar trace their origin back to shortly after the First Crusade. In 1119, a French nobleman from the Champagne region, Hughes de Payens, collected eight of his knight relatives, and began the Order, their stated mission to protect pilgrims in the Holy Land.
