Pirate Flintlock Pistol
|
Pirate Flintlock Pistol is an accurately sized replica of the classic flintlock blunderbusses used by pirates during the 18th century.
“Flintlock” pistols were so called because the lock used a flint to strike sparks into the priming pan when the trigger is pulled. A small amount of gunpowder in the pan is ignited and then ignites the main gunpowder charge in the barrel, firing the bullet. This replica is not functional but the flintlock mechanisms are functional. The Pirate Flintlock Pistol features wood stock detailed with skull & cross bones and a steel finish barrel.
Length: 13.5
