Child Leather Greaves
|
Leather greaves were worn by every medieval and renaissance fighting man.
They protected his lower legs from unexpected blows during close fighting and to shield his legs during rough riding through the forest. Our child's greaves are of finely crafted black leather with straps and brass buckles and rivets. For a finishing touch, a dark red fleur-de-lis is stitched to the front of each greave in contrasting thread.
